Check in here if you like ALL of the Democratic candidates!
It saddens me to see Democrats smearing Democratic candidates. I definitely have Democratic candidates that I like more than others, but any of them would be much better than any of the Republican contenders. I'm supporting Obama, but I see no reason to smear the other candidates. There is nothing wrong with criticizing Democrats, which I do quite a bit myself, but trying to smear them and destroy them seems like it will only benefit the right wing in the long run.

I'll say it again: I will proudly volunteer for and support whoever gets the Democratic nomination. I hope it's Barack Obama, but I would be proud to have any of the Democratic contenders as my President.

5. Well
Ultimately yes, although I like Hillary the least, I still believe she would be FAR better than any republican president.

I don't agree that she might as well be a conservative. Is she the most conservative democrat in the race? IMO yes. But a conservative democrat (on some issues, obviously I don't think that applies to social issues) is still FAR better than an actual conservative.

At any rate, if she gets the nomination, I *will* vote for her.

We may as well turn off the pc and go to bed. No sense posting when there is nothing to post about.

Oh, we're under a tornado watch. Is that a friendly suitable civil topic or can we post only that it's sunny and beautiful (even when it isn't)?

and their candidates are idiots, is no reason to be smug.

OK, it is. :P

Looking at their choices, I can imagine Republicans voting for Democrats this time. Maybe the veils are lifting. Maybe the harsh realities of Republican loot and burn policies will waken them from their slumbers.

I don't think I can make a wrong choice on January 26 (SC Democratic primary).

25. They're all fine with me.
I will definitely support our nominee.

This is the hard part -- the primaries -- with or without a candidate. I get frustrated when I perceive unfairness in the process. I don't like it ending before it began, and I admit I'm perpetually pissed at New Hampshire. I can't stand seeing what was done to Gore, what was done to Kerry, what was done to Dean and Clark and now -- in thoroughly unacceptable ways -- to Clinton. I also wish America were a place where three people with Kucinich's positions were duking it out on the trail.

And I know it's hard for everybody, sometimes, to separate obnoxious supporters from their candidates.

And I know most of us have preferences or "absolutely never's".

BUT ... absolutely -- even if it takes a while to get into it -- I will try to muster all the support I can to defeat the Republican nominee. That's what it really comes down to in the end, for me.

34. I can't tell you how many times
I've thought, "I can't wait until the primaries are over", because I know we (democrats) will finally be wholeheartedly united once our candidate has been chosen.

I hate the smears and the infighting. I hate seeing people be intentionally hurt. It's kind of like watching my kids attack each other.

41. I wuv them! Oh, I wuv them all!
If you can love diametrically-opposed positions just because someone calls them "Democratic," you have all the discriminatory intelligence of a Burger King customer.

For example, Obama opposed going to war with Iraq. Hillary wanted to go to war. But oh, you wuv wuv wuv 'em both, don't you. You want that vote biggee-sized for ya?

BTW, that's not damning with faint praise, although it may sound like it. I'd be more than happy to vote for any of our Democratic candidates. I have my favorite, but I will vote for, and fully support any of them in the GE.

48. Very Reasonable Suggestion. I hope it's Barack Obama as well if that's
who you support. I'm kind of freaking out reading what people are saying (or just making up) and it really has me incredibly pessimistic about life in general but I can't stop watching because it's like the most unbelievable and unexpected train wreck with bodies flying and thousands of wounded. It doesn't effect my impression of any of the candidates but it sure as hell makes me think that there isn't anything people who work in politics wouldn't do or say regardless of who their candidate is. The fact that there are some candidates who have supporters who are like that - willing to do or say anything, especially destructive and lies - says more about the people who are their supporters.

The Democratic candidates are all fine. I'm worried that we as Americans have been so traumatized that this is the way that has become the standard one to communicate and interact with each other. Wow.If that's the case will it really matter who the President is?
