The Al Gore rolling eyes.
The Dean Scream.

The Hillary "tears." (Except she didn't even cry.)

Once again, the MSM is lining up to mock a Democratic candidate. And we join in!

3. And that means we're party to the failures of our country.
I almost stopped posting ever again when I saw postings that dismissed the Nobel that Al Gore won. Geez, people. They want us to cannibalize each other. Don't fall into that!

6. I agree I am no Hillary fan but this is the
same BS the MSM does to every Democrat. It makes me sick. I was very disappointed in the attack job Keith Oberman did on Hillary today.

9. Assuredly agree
I watched the video and as a card carrying woman I can state that that was not crying. That was barely choking up. And this is bad because... why?

Evidently mock outrage is the only socially acceptable emotion.

and the media focuses on his sigh and not on Bush's bullshit.

17. Exactly. That's when I got the first inkling of something extremely wrong
I knew it by the time of the recounts/theft.
By 2004 - Kerry/Bush debate - they were much more in your face - you had to be nuts to not see it....

24. Same here.
There were reasons to support Bradly over Gore, or Kerry over Dean, and now Obama or Edwards over Clinton. But the mannerism lynch mobs have nothing to do with any of those reasons. Why can't we let Presidential candidates be human beings? What does that say about us?

15. Like I said in another thread on this issue
The media pounces on this BS. They LOVE it.

As if when, for example, Dean cried out, it somehow gave us an indication of how he would lead our country? Did that yell tell us anything about his health care plan? His education plan? His foreign policy?

No, of course not. His yell told us absolutely nothing about anything relevant.

A true "gaffe" to me is when a candidate screws up some facts and figures. Like mixing up Sunni and Shia for example.

But the mainstream media definition seems to be anything that can make the political blooper real, the more irrelevant the better. They want the political equivalent of slipping on a banana peel.

That's why I largely avoid the mainstream media for election coverage and opt for something better: http://bravenewfilms.org/election

28. Yeah, and in the meantime McCain gets away with 'a million years'
in Iraq. He said that. The US may stay a million years in Iraq. Not a sneeze in the media about it.

If McCain had said he'd bomb New York back to the stone age while having ceremonial sex with a goat, no one in the media would dream of calling him an idiot, let alone use the correct terms to be used on such an occation. To the contrary, the pre-bomb New York would instantly turn into a mythical cess pool of sin media wise--bar goat fucking, of course--while bombing any city to bits, at any time, would attain an aura of something good and right (but not Godly, if not being done while fucking a goat).

You never hear about republican's election campaign suddenly being 'done for, and over' because of some imagined drop of voters confidence. It get to be over only when the candidate says so, and until that happens, the media is happy for every repub nazi running. As for the incumbent repub nazi, it's striking that it is the Dems that has to prove themselves as far as the media pundits go, while the disaster called the Bush-administration does not affect the Republican party at all, despite plenty of evidence of party participation and knowledge of the wrongdoings.
