6. He's not the first one to use that analogy and I'm not sure that I disagree
The person that I heard use it first said that Obama was like Tiger Woods in that he made his race a non-issue. Tiger Woods is looked at now as a great golfer who happens to be African-American and Barack Obama is a "great" politician who just happens to be African-American. They both have been able to appeal to a broad segment of the population. I think it is unfortunate that we still have to make such analogies and I didn't hear it in context so it might have sounded stupid, but I don't disagree with the underlying rationale.

8. I did not like the comment personally.
also the look on the face of the man he was interviewing was interesting. He looked taken aback. It was an awkward moment. My husband noticed it too.
