MSNBC - Fair & Balanced - All Day Long From Scarborough To Matthews.....
to Olbermann they have been trashing HRC - now Dan Abrams has come to her rescue and is saying the media is piling on HRC. Go figure.

2. Her Al Qaida
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 09:19 PM by Mz Pip
comments made her sound like Cheney's writing her talking points. It's not how she should be coming across. I'm sorry but I found it offensive. It's the same crap we've been hearing for years from the Republicans. "Vote for us or you'll be sorry."

Sick of it. The more I hear this the more I dislike it.

4. I'm a huge Keith O fan but I am loving the Rachel Maddow / Pat Buchanan "panel duets"
I think the two of them are an excellent balance although I also think she's far more brilliant then Buchanan (but that's another story). It's fun to watch them together!
I hope they give Rachel her own show- she really is terrific.

6. Me too,
and compared to Chris Matthews, Buchanan seems downright sedate.

9. Olbermann is the one who had it right
And Rachel just doesn't want Obama to run away with this before Edwards has a chance to get in it.

15. Edwards? Is there a chance he'll win New Hampshire?
I mean, he has to win something, sooner or later, to be viable. Do you think he'll win New Hampshire? Nevada? Michigan? South Carolina? Florida? Seriously, is he expected to win some of the states? I hadn't heard of any that he was leading in the polls.

19. Maybe Dan Abrams should
have mentioned why they were calling hillary out? Or would that be too much to ask for?

5. It started with Russert's debate,
and has only gotten worse. Dan Abrams was terrific tonight though, I guess he's had enough too.

7. They've praised her "humanizing moment" all day, wtf
What have you been watching all day? Olbermann is the only one who questioned her crying.

13. MSNBC is doing a superb job of covering the primaries. It's the best.
Abrams is not saying his people are piling up on HRC. He's saying that people are getting carried away with the Obama "wins." That's true. I was thinking the same thing, as I was watching Olberman tonight. I was thinking...hey, guys, Hillary could still win this. It's a numbers game.

People are just caught up in the excitement of it all, I guess. It's been a looooong time since anyone's been really enthused about a politician in this country.

11. Oh, Bull. Did you miss Chris and Hillary hugging and patting ea. other's face?
And Chris saying how much he likes her, how others who have met her like her, how likeable she is in person?

As is usual, you're mixing political punditry and analysis with personal attacks.

I've been watching a lot of the MSNBC coverage, and it is overly Obamarama, to be sure (I'm an Obama supporter), but it has NOT been an attack on HRC by any means whatsoever.

Did you miss Scarborough's plan for a Hillary win of the nomination?

This is the best coverage network among CNN, Fox, and MSNBC, hands down. The absolute best. They are doing a superb job.

You will change your mind, should Hillary pull ahead, and the coverage (you think) changes to be in her favor. In actuality, the coverage will simply be reporting how her campaign is doing. THAT is what disturbs you...how her campaign is doing right now.

14. Bull!!
That was no love-fest.

That was her being quite dismissive of him (which was great) and him not knowing what to say or do.

20. No, it was a love fest of sorts. They go back years. After the clip...
he then goes on to say how much he likes her. He speaks about her in the Clinton W.H. days, how people would say these horrible things about her, but then when you'd meet her in person, everyone would love her. He said he liked her a lot, that she's a very likeable person.

That is hardly a personal attack.

He also made similar comments this morning on Morning Joe show.

17. I couldn't believe what Rachel Maddow said
It was like she was reading my mind, or one of my posts... EXACTLY what I've been thinking and saying and typing. (Re: defending HRC because the attacks are so outrageous.)
