1. 1/2 and 1/2
I'm VERY concerned, and feel that the issue is being purposely ignored by both Parties.

I want to work to change 'both' to 'all' by the next election, however, I am very afraid Smirky is going to win, by Rove. (by jove?)

2. It probably won't matter this time, if there's 2 PNAC candidates.
Maybe that was the plan all along, and that's why the implementation of the electro-fraud machines isn't mandatory in many areas until 2006. They already planned on a "failsafe" strategy for '04. A win-win election for the globalcorporatistfascists.

3. Call your representatives and demand ......
Your vote be counted by paper ballot and no media control. Get busy.

4. I probably should have added one more choice
E-Voting machines can never be a secure method of registering votes.

5. Diebold is owned by Extreme Right Wing who said he would do anything...
to make sure that Bush is elected this time! This company makes almost all of the voting machines....the other couple of companies that make these are also owned by Republicans. Since there is no way to check on the result from them, and since in the last two elections, there have been big problems with them, even the Election Commission acknowledged this, I am sure that Bush will "win" this time by vote count! Paper trail, which California has voted in, but won't be used until 2006, is what we must demand! It is probably too late now, unless we raise such a stink and demand that the UN and other countries come in and monitor our election, just like we do around the world!

With that and the ability to decide when we need to have a raise in the terrorist alert to red, which means 24 hour curfew = no elections I don't think we will have a democratic country much longer.

Could be that my mind is justing firing on the scared side.....tell me I'm wrong, please!

8. This has already affected me once
In the Texas primaries, early voters cast ballots on electronic machines, which were 'miscalibrated', and as a result counted who knows how many votes for democrats as votes for republicans.

I'm very seriously disapointed and more than a bit concerned that Democrats on the hill have not done more on this issue.

It seems to me that someone planning on taking over the elections of this country with the voting machines, would wait a few elections to start using their power. I don't see them immediately making their move on the elections. If I was going to do it, thats how I would do it. Gain the public's confidence and then use it against them. What I see as more likely is that these voting companies rushed through the creation of their systems and didn't plan and test their software well. They focused on selling the products before they were even finished and had deadlines to finish them. The evidence from the Diebold memos seems to support the idea that their problems are from lack of effort rather than deliberate malfesence. If they wanted to seemlessly steal an election there wouldnt be such blatant irregularities.

All in all I see BBV as playing a small factor in the up coming election. Its possible that the machines will not have the correct counts, but I don't think it would be deliberately.
