Obama 41, Clinton 28, Edwards 19 USATODAY/GALLUP
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 06:47 PM by jezebel
http://blogs.usatoday.com/onpolitics/2008/01/obama-up-by-13.html

The rundowns: taken Friday through today,
778 New Hampshire residents who are "likely" to vote in the Democratic primary
Democrats.

• Obama: 41%; up from 32% in the last USA TODAY/Gallup New Hampshire poll, taken in mid-December.
• Clinton: 28%; down from 32%.
• John Edwards: 19%; up from 18%.
• Gov. Bill Richardson: 6%; down from 8%.
• No one else above 3%.

Republicans.

• McCain: 34%; up from 27% in mid-December.
• Romney: 30%; down from 34%.
• Mike Huckabee: 13%; up from 9%.
• Rep. Ron Paul: 8%; down from 9%.
• Rudy Giuliani: 8%; down from 11%.
• No one else above 3%.

Each figure has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points. So Obama's lead is "outside" that range, while McCain's is not

8. Here we go again with the cheap media polls
Americans' propensity to choose to be manipulated by these things never ceases to impress.

12. You got that right.
These idiots are going to allow the media to decide who the next President is. And the media is controlled by big business.

When was the last time big business did anything good for the American people?

They aren't doing it to be generous, they are running scared and pulling out all the stops to make sure the candidates they want are the ones that get in office.

Pathetic how foolish people *STILL* are. Have they learned NOTHING after the Bush years? :eyes:

And if JE was leading you'd be saying how brilliant voters were.
Enjoy your sour grapes.

20. Seems to me one might have a look in the mirror
before casting aspersions....

I'm simply referring to the propensity among various supporters to play American Idol and attempt to influence public opinion through dubious polls.

I said the same about all the Hillary polls posted (ad nauseum). How'd they work out?

Wouldn't matter who they were for- because it's ]i]the dysfunctional process not the particular candidate that's impressive.

15. Obviously Obama will do well in the primaries
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 07:23 PM by tblue
It's the damn General that scares the hell out of me. I think the GOP (and that includes Big Media) wants us to nominate Obama. They have a way of getting who they want to run against.

19. Well, for most of us, it's the thought of Hillary as the nominee that scares the crap out of us.
I have a good feeling that we'll be spared that nightmare scenario. She was the only thing standing between us and Victory in November.

29. Trust me, the republicans do not want Obama.
If you've ever been brave enough to look at the republican blogs like freerepublic, they all discuss the possibility of Obama being the nominee and definitely acknowledge he will be much harder to beat than Hillary. the republicans I know think he would be much harder to beat than Hillary. I don't know where people get this idea that Hillary is electable from at all. She absolutely is not and I know that I am right...
