Edwards Says Nafta Changes Wouldn't Save All Jobs, NYT Reports
Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- John Edwards, the North Carolina senator seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, said his proposal to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement wouldn't significantly cut the flow of jobs out of the U.S., the New York Times reported, citing an interview with him.

Although he criticized the agreement as causing some economic distress, Edwards described it as important to the economy, the paper said. Global trade agreements should include measures to slow loss of jobs to other countries, he said. <snip>
