Support for Edwards wanes going into Super Tuesday
John Edwards needed a momentus bounce, going into Super Tuesday, and he didn't get it.

As John Kerry won Idaho, Utah and Hawaii by roughly twenty percentage points in all three states, he left little doubt that it is all over but the crying for the Edwards campaign.

Utah, Idaho and Hawaii not important, you might say?

Small delegate count among the three combined states? True.

But politics is as much about the perceptions of the gerneral public as anything else. And the perception of Edwards going into Super Tuesday is that his support is waning.

Had Edwards spent some time in these three states, the outcome and perception among the public could have been completely different.

For proof, look at the Kucinich showing in Hawaii. He made to stops in Hawaii and came in ahead of Edwards.

Strategic mistake on the part of the Edwards campaign.
