Do you think that Kerry is doing a good job at standing up to Bush?

The fact is that we need to beat Bush. No Two Ways about it. Many seem angry that Kerry is not standing up to Bush on waffling. THough Kerry has been taking Bush to task on jobs. It seems as though we have lost a little ground this week over Bush. Whereas I have been optomistic that we will beat bush I have lost it a little. I still think that he can be beaten but not if Kerry and/or Edwards really steps up. I do not even want to imagine a world where he wins another 4 years.

1. The Democrats have to keep telling the truth over and over.

They have to have answers that will put Bush on the offensive everytime the repubs criticize them. They are very out of practice. They haven't done this in 25 years. They better get their act together. And it would help if rest of the Democrats did this too. I don't know what their problem is, but it has been very frustrating to watch the repubs take over.

2. This is the way I see it

A unified party is going to do more for standing up to Bush than any of our candidates can alone. That's why I am proud of my candidate for doing what he thinks needs to be done - keep many voices alive and saying what needs to be said.

Hopefully, in the end, we will have a unified group all hitting Bush from all different angles and working TOGETHER. That, to me, is a dream come true.

Bush's numer are down and have plunged in CA, where I live.

Kerry is doing well standing up to Bush, but could do better. I think he should have gone mad on the Bush's Non-Guard service, but Kerry decided to look presidential instead. That's just me.

And frankly, I hope Bush syas GAY-GAY-GAY-GAY night & day because people will simply tune out to that---they just will.

Albeit 911, I have been wondering why the Democrats haven't been saying a whole lot more about the antics of the Republicans, Enron, wall street scandals, Iraqi issues, Halliburton, etc..

I am pondering the statement that Nader made (not voting for him of course); that the Dem's and republicans are BOTH in bed with lots of stuff and aren't committed to doing a darn thing about them. However, he is going to expose that part of the 2 party issue, etc.

I wish that the Dem's would open their mouths more, make a stink more, just like the Repubs did every time Clinton blinked his eyeballs. I think that the Repubs deserve just desserts by now.

Saying you're a "fighter" isn't really fighting, but it's enough to keep him admirable - a trait that's appealing to his base & the swing (for different reasons). It's up to us to scream & yell & be generally offensive.

Sorry about the backhanded compliment. I'll shut up about Kerry as soon as he wins the nomination. Until then, progressives are doing him a favor by making him appear more centrist than he really is. Same goes for Edwards.

How can I be sure Kerry's just playing to win? Anybody who has such garbled answers to simple questions obviously doesn't buy his own bullshit. But hey, as long as whatever he's doing keeps him ahead in the polls, no arguements here.

16. Until he's clearly the nominee, I think he needs to moderate his

attacks on Dimson. He's reacting to Bush, but he's not getting really offensive....yet. I see no immediate benefit to start wild rants at this point in the campaign, he needs to continue the reasoned alternative to the dim-witted, politics-for-my-benefit unelected fraud who is currently losing on his own merits. I think he's going to ramp his attacks as the year moves on and I'm hoping he really lets loose when the Republicans start getting dirty. I think the ace-in-the-hole will be the Booker video and a simple question: What are you hiding George? or GWB: Killing time at Booker?
