3. A little testy, not the worst moment
Her worst moment was really when she said to stop giving people "false hope". That's horrible and they could finish her off right now if anybody would realize how angry that would make people.

29. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot that "classic"
If Edwards can't win, I can't wait for Obama to crush this bitch into the beltway dirt, under the heel of his well-polished shoe. She has zero class and zero control over her emotions. This is far worse than the "Dean Scream", because he didn't do that during a debate.

But other than that, it was ok.

7. I was waiting for the horns to sprout from her head.
Then I imagined what it must be like when shes pissed at Bill behind closed doors.

24. that's kind of a sexist thing to say--did you ever imagine bill behind
closed doors with her about ten years ago? i doubt it.

8. Other.
This WOULD be spun into a "Dean Scream" type of hysteria, except the Whore Media has their nose permanently planted in Hillary Clinton's ass.

If Edwards or Obama had raised their voice in anger, or had told Hillary to get a "reality check" after talking about her mother's death from cancer, THEY would probably never hear the end of it.

10. I picked your last choice because it came closest to my view
But I think it would have been noted had a man reacted like that also AND the reaction would have been favorable to him doing so. It would not have gotten much attention but it would have been an example of how a candidate did not let a dig go unanswered but used it to turn attention to their strong point instead. Each person in the exchange would have been credited with playing the political game well.

As it is I am not sure that an attempt to shove a "Clinton melted down" meme down people's throats won't create instead a sympathy backlash against uneven treatment being shown her. There are some indications here at DU from non Clinton supporters that you don't have to like Hillary to find this particular treatment of her offensive.

13. What angry moment?
I only saw a spirited discussion between 3 candidates. The Democrats were much more cordial with each other than the Repugs.

15. "Other"
I don't like Hillary, but I thought she smacked down Mr. empty slogans very effectively by telling him that she stands for real change based on real experience. It wasn't shrill or "screaming", it was merely forceful.

I think the outcome will depend on how the media plays it.

20. I lean strongly toward Edwards and I think he did very well, but
this was Clinton's best debate so far, IMO. She was strong and passionate and showed her fighting side. All of that was good, I thought. She did very well...

Nothing really happened here. The only notable part of it was that Hillary actually showed a rare moment of passion here.

26. To the 35%, remember Dean?
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 03:13 AM by Drunken Irishman
Wasn't Dean's scream the final straw that broke his back when it came to media's blatant lying about him being an angry candidate?

People thought Dean was too angry leading up to Iowa and then he yelled and it seemed to reinforce everyone's thoughts that he was, in fact, angry.

They'll do it to any candidate, just to undermine their credibility. Female or not. And I'm not saying they're right, BUT I DO NOT THINK IT IS A GENDER ISSUE.

27. I'm an Obama supporter..
And I don't think there was much wrong with that reply. If Obama had said it, we all would have been like.. "YEAH.. Go get 'em Barack".

I want Obama to win.. but I am not going to make a mountain out of a molehill.. this wasn't bad.

I don't think this helped her or hurt her..

28. If Obama had said it, I think the media would have pounced.
This is what they do. They look for any chink in the armor of any candidate and when they find it, they run with it. It happened to Dean in '04 and it could happen to Hillary now.
