5. Practically everybody
will claim they care about children and that they realize they are the future of our nation. Therefore, why is education so largely ignored? Take the mainstream press... Keith Olbermann, for example. Nothing. I understand that for the past 5 years, Iraq has dominated and that is certainly understandable. However, I think there is much more to this omission than that.

I do wonder about all major news organizations being owned and monopolized by three mega-corporations. I think they basically disseminate what the ruling elite want them to.

Any thoughts?

P.S. HA -- of course if there is a sex scandal in an isolated school, that makes it to the news.

6. Wow that is neat
Now let me tell you what I am pissed off about. Remember they were going to debate NCLB this fall and vote on renewing it?

We waited.

And waited.

Then FINALLY in December, Hillary said she thinks NCLB is going to be KEY in the presidential race. And all the rest of them started talking about it then too.

So in other words, the Democrats are willing to let our kids SUFFER for another year so they can use this horrible legislation that is RUINING our public schools as ammunition against Bush's party.

Anger doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this.
