5. Wonderful! Let's see if the media discuss his big surge

in Hawaii. I'm not holding my breath, mind you. Just as long as they show President Kucinich taking the oath of office!

8. Hehe...I can see it now..
Kucinich wins the Presidency and it's not aired on 'news' networks.

What's sick is that the media's blackout of Kucinich is so overwhelmingly obvious that I cannot rule that out as a possibility!

GO DK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to cover breaking news on the Martha Stewart trial.

If we could only work a low speed car chase into the ceremony, that might do it.

12. This was Dennis's second visit to Hawaii in this campaign.
He was there late last fall. No other candidate even got to Hawaii once. Kerry had scheduled a trip recently, then cancelled.

This was such a whirlwind trip! Wow! It took me by surprise. Seems like there Dennis was in Hawaii and today he was somewhere on the East coast. The man has more stamina than I can imagine. He is bouncing from coast to coast with time in Ohio both coming and going and then bouncing to Hawaii for 3 events in a 6 hour period. (I think he was on two islands in that time). Then a Red Eye flight to San Francisco.

13. Yup
he only stayed in Hawaii for a total of 6 hours. He was going to try to make it to THREE islands, but it was just too much for him. It is understanable, considering that he is jumping all over the place.

21. Only around 4000 people showed up at the caucuses?
What's that about? I thought Hawaii was a pretty big Democratic state.

we are, but not everyone shows up. The Democrat usually wins everytime come the general election, so people become complacent. However, this past governor's race was an anomaly IMHO. We had a few high profile Democratic scandals.

24. Plus the population isn't that big to begin with
plus (and I may be wrong on this) there was supposedly a contestant from Hawaii on American Idol or some such program last night, so that was expected to depress turnout.

Yes, from what I've heard, the guy was terrible. Good thing I actually got out and voted instead of staying home :-)
