Clinton trying to manufacture momentum?
Edited on Sat Jan-05-08 06:17 PM by george_maniakes
Seems like it according to this.

How to Assure an SRO Event? Shrink the Gym.

By Alec McGillis
CONCORD, N.H. -- A New Hampshire voter arriving to see Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday morning at a local high school might well have assumed that the event was overwhelmed by a stunningly high turnout, an impression that the candidate herself did her best to encourage.....

2. Does a Clinton plant questions in the audience?
it's an old tactic and it's done by everyone. Perception becomes reality.

right now, Obama is beating her at that game... mostly because she's not prepared for his reality or his perception-management. We'll see what happens in the long haul.

3. How is planning for 300 and having 500 show up manufactured?
here is more info
"Clinton's campaign had configured the space for about 300 people -- a small figure for an event in one of New Hampshire's biggest towns in the final days before the primary. More than that showed up -- about 500"
are you guys resorting to clipping piecies of articles? how desperate!

6. I'm guessing that 300 number was deliberately lower than expected. The article states
that would be "a small figure" given the circumstances. Looks to me like they were trying to make a standard turnout look like unprecedented, overwhelming support.

7. looks to me there's a lot of inference there...
reporters opinions are not fact..
contrary to popular belief.

9. Heh. Post the article as Truth, then when you're shown how it hurts your case,
claim that reporters are fallible.

13. First you claimed
Edited on Sat Jan-05-08 06:52 PM by Occam Bandage
that it wasn't manufactured, and posted "more info." I then pointed out that exact same "more info" was saying that the Clinton campaign had planned for fewer people than typically show up. You then attempted to discredit the very information you had posted.

14. I will type slowly so you can keep up here..
The Clinton campaign said they set up for 300
it is the reporters OPINION that they COULD have set up for 500.
One is opinion..
One is a quote from a Clinton campaign person.
Now you know your ABC's
I can draw pertty pictures next.
