HEADLINE: Huckabee tones down Christian rhetoric in New Hampshire
Talk about pandering. So this guy's faith can be controlled like a rheostat?

What happened to "this little gospel light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine"? If I were one of his mesmerized fundamentalist followers I would certainly ask why he is hiding his light under a bushel!

4. Huckabee is ashamed of Christ. Hiding his candle under a bushel. Shame. Shame.
What a pathetic, pandering piece of shit.

9. My point is that the US puts a Mormon or a Catholic through the ringer
Edited on Sat Jan-05-08 05:41 PM by MichiganVote
but nary a peep about Huckabilly's likelihood for bias in the news coverage UNLESS the guy is peddling his religious crap in the South or before select audiences. And we thought * was bad?

What's YOUR point?

listen closely to his words and how he phrases them.
It pretty easy to catch on to his gimmicks.
He is not a good man.

8. If he makes it to the nomination
he's going to have to suck it up and kiss some GOP corporate ass if he wants to go all the way. New Hampshire is a good place to start.

13. Slimiest politician to come along in years -
the guy knows exactly the right things to say, even when interviewed by "opposing counsel"; i.e., Keith Olbermann in the post-caucus coverage!

He totally downplayed (if not "non-played") his religious background when Jay Leno interviewed him on the Tonight Show the other night. Believe me, his strategy is completely laid out in terms of how he plans to address every specific audience he will appear before.
