Clark supporter votes Kucinich
I actually went to the county caucus undecided. I was a Clark Supporter, however, he dropped out of the race. So I was thinking Kerry. But after the first vote I was thinking Kerry was really far ahead and I wanted a more liberal voice on the party platform. So that ruled out Edwards. That left Dean, Sharpton, and Kucinich. Dean and sharpton didn't have enough votes to get any delegates. So I went to the Kucinich camp. Then I was nominated to be a candidate for delegate. Funny thing was I missed being a delegate by just about 7 votes. I am not mad at all. The people that beat me were working for months on the Kucinich Campaign, and if two of the delegates cannot make it to the convention I get to go! This is likely too considering how far away it is in terms of time and distance.

So for Kucinich Supporters, I want to say thank you. I love Kucinich because of everything he brings to the party. I really do think Edwards and Kerry are a little to conservative and insulting especially on gay rights and on the war in Iraq.

I will vote for Kerry in the General election. But for now, it is nice to vote for and support Kucinich until that actually happens.

2. What wonderful news!
Welcome to DU, BigDemo!

:hi: :hi: :hi:

And congrats on being nominated as a delegate! That's terrific! You must have given some convincing talks. Guess you have some reading up on Dennis to do, as it sounds likely you'll actually be going to the convention. :toast:

You've made my evening... thanks for reporting!

Kanary

Kucinich 2004!

4. Congratulations!!
I was so disappointed when Clark's issues of reducing the military budget and really having grass roots support went down the media tubes. Dennis and Clark share those things in common.

Welcome as a Kucitizen!! :bounce:

6. You should be prooud of your vote
Kucinich and Clark are the two real progressive voices in these elections. It's no surprise there there was a complete media blackout on both of them.

In my heart, I was hoping that Clark would endorse Kucinich :), even though it was not the politically smart thing to do.

10. I am not surprised, DK was always my 2nd
When Clark was waivering in VA, I came very close to voting my conscience -- Kucinich.

But in the end I voted for Clark, because I had invested so much time in the grassroots campaign.

11. Welcome
and thanks for your support! It feels really good to support DK, no worries about what he is going to say next, no worries about how he might just up and change his mind at the last minute as the polls shift. It is just a darned fine place to be in your heart and your mind.
