Kucinich says he's best candidate for Marin
http://www.marinij.com/Stories/0,1413,234~24407~1975901,00.html

In my opinion, he's the best candidate anywhere in the nation.

Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich told several hundred supporters in San Rafael last night that he is the candidate who best represents Marin County's views and that he still has a chance to win the Democratic Party's nomination.

In an interview before taking the stage in Angelico Hall at Dominican University, U.S. Rep. Kucinich, D-Ohio, said he feels right at home in Marin County because of support from Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Petaluma, and the left-leaning political outlook of many in the county.

Tackling an issue that has recently dominated headlines, he said he supports gay marriage.

This country is in a constant state of evolution, he said, and not even President Bush has a right to deny someone the legal status of marriage because they are homosexual.

"We shouldn't be limiting people's rights because of their sexual orientation," he said.

1. that does it I am voting for Dennis
have been suporting Kerry, but his weak , spineless , position on the FMA costs him as does his lack of leadership on Marijuana.Besides, I love Lynn Woolsey, used to live in Sonoma

7. Actually, Kerry issued a rather good statement on the FMA
Saying he would never vote for it if it came to the Senate floor, and accusing Bush of being desperate to distract the electorate from his abysmal record as president. He uses the same 'civil unions but no "marriage"' talk as the other major Dems, however. :(

11. That was the Massachusetts amendment, said to allow CU but not 'marriage'
That's the one he wants to look at the wording for. DUers need to get informed on this fast.

13. WOOHOOO!
And another one sees the light! Welcome aboard, mitch, and please get active about it! Go to the website and volunteer to help spread the word, please. The media isn't willing to cover Dennis the way he deserves to be covered so we need volunteers to help do it instead.

9. I would be so thrilled to see California go with Kucinich.
I'd be honored to help bring it about by voting for him. He's the best man for the job out there. Right on the issues, every one of them.

Go Dennis!
