7. Fire up is an old expression.

I used to hear frat guys say it in Indiana, in the 1960's.

I didn't know what it meant when I first heard it, and I thought it was funny the first few times. I think frat guys used the expression when they would drink and carouse, and when they went out to support their athletic teams.

I can't offer boots on the ground, but I do what I can by (1) donating, (2) supporting my daughter so she doesn't have to work right now and can be boots on the ground both in California and out of state, and (3) by being a viral Obama-info-spreader on line.
