Edwards supporters: Some GOOD news!
Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 12:24 AM by FlyingSquirrel
Most recent New Hampshire poll results:

Clinton 32% Obama 28% Edwards 19%, Franklin Pierce - Dec 27-31
Clinton 31% Obama 27% Edwards 21%, ARG - Dec 27-29
Clinton 34% Obama 30% Edwards 17%, CNN/Univ NH - Dec 27-30

Let's not be giving up so soon.

P.S.

Some better news:

If Obama wins the nomination, he's about a brazillion times more likely to choose Edwards as running mate than Clinton.

1. Err, Flying Squirrel, the likelihood of Edwards being anyones running mate is zero and justifiably
so.It would be an enormous insult and ge isn't likely to be a VP candidate again, especially not to Obama or Hillary!

6. Why, does he have a Senate seat to go back to if he doesn't win?
Edited on Fri Jan-04-08 12:37 AM by FlyingSquirrel
Also, he is not Al Gore or John Kerry, neither of whom would likely accept the spot. But it's still very premature anyway - I haven't even slightly given up on him. I'm just saying if Obama's momentum is truly unstoppable then Edwards may still be on the ticket. Like the guy below said though, it could turn into a two-way race between Edwards and Obama (with HRC steadily losing ground in New Hampshire, Edwards could get a huge boost there thanks to his second place finish in Iowa) and I like his chances there. Plus if he DOES get a boost there, he gets the added bonus of being able to claim that the momentum is building for his candidacy.

7. Obama will NOT choose Edwards as Veep.
Nor would Edwards be open to running second on a ticket twice.

10. Edwards has clearly stated he would not be interested in the vp job period end of story. He was
most specific about this many months ago.

Duh.

You don't say you're willing to take the VP slot while you're still in the running for Pres.
