Details of a new television ad from Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, to begin running Wednesday:

TITLE: "Jobs Lost."

LENGTH: 30 seconds.

PRODUCER: Riverfront Media, (a political unit of GMMB & SDD).

AIRING: Ohio, upstate New York.

SCRIPT: John Kerry: "Three million jobs lost ... that is an astonishing failure."

Announcer: "John Kerry's got the strength and experience to fight for America's jobs."

Kerry: "We need to be on the side of America's workers."

Announcer: "His plan ... End tax breaks that reward companies for shipping jobs overseas. New incentives to create and keep good jobs here. A real plan to get health care costs under control."

Kerry: "George Bush won't do it. I will. I'm John Kerry and I approved this message."

1. Pretty good.
I like that it focuses on Kerry. You know who he's talking about. Short and sweet. Not too negative; mostly positive statements.

Not sure if tax breaks will be enough to lure jobs back home. Seems like saving 40K per tech employee is still a better deal for the Benedict Arnold companies. (Plus they get free advertising on Lou Dobbs' site, LOL.)

Overall, good effort. This succeeds in painting a contrast vs. Bush and associating Kerry with hope.
