Past passion turns against Nader in '04
If Jason Salzman has his way, each time Ralph Nader appears to promote his 2004 presidential candidacy, a group of penitent Nader 2000 supporters will protest nearby.

1. Too bad
They'd be better off rounding up voters for the Dem nominee.

2. From what I've been hearing, I think he's going to have
a much rougher time of it this year, and not just because he has to do most of the heavy lifting himself since he's not on the ballot of a particular party.

People are far more aware of just how much difference there really is between the Bushistas and their party and the Dems, and just how much worse off they and the country are now.

Many people are finally starting to wise up, thank God!

4. Difference between GOP and DNC:
"ultra-awful" versus "eh", in my book.

I'd still like something better than "eh", so don't use this emergency situation to count on my vote for Dem presidents from here on out. Unless Dennis or another progrssive dem takes the nod, then you can have my vote again. :)

5. I'm sorry, but that's simply not true.
Please don't try and insult my intelligence by telling me that Gore or another Dem wouldn't be that much different from the Bushistas. As a historian, I can tell you that this is hands-down the worst, most dangerous administration in this country's history, and I'm not given to historical hyperbole either.

And yes, I would love for Kucinich to be the nominee (I live right next to his district), but thanks to the dismissive treatment by the mainstream media it ain't gonna happen. And he would have no chance against * anyway.

This is beyond an emergency situation, this is the very future of the country at stake, and I mean that with every fiber of my being. I guess I'll see you in the "re-education camp" if * wins this time!

3. ah, penitence!
The erring sinners ingratiate themselves with the mainstream. Dissent is bad, baaaaaaaaad.

Liberalism is enjoying a bipartisan death.
