1. Kucinich said as much on Tucker
Relative to Clinton and Edwards, Kucinich said Obama is "sincere."

5. That would be my guess....
I mean , Dennis is still my candidate...and I wanna like Edwards, I really do...he'd be my next choice after Dennis....and it would be easier if I did, but something just doesn't ring true for me about JE.

8. Here's my reasons for supporting Edwards -- and you know I'm a DK supporter from WAAY back...
I'm really very cynical in general, and I believe that the U.S. political system is corrupted beyond repair.

Therefore, I trust NO politician to actually "walk their talk", I know it's not going to happen. The superstructure of the MIC will never allow it.

So, that leaves us with just the "talk". The service I see Edwards performing is that he's bringing up topics and ideas (like poverty and corporatism) that just aren't done in polite conventional wisdom society.

"Talk", in and of itself, DOES have considerable value when it challenges the status quo worldview. Words are symbols for ideas, and when words invoke ideas that most people would rather not acknowledge, those words are worth something.

It takes a long time for ideas to get sufficiently seeded in the group mind to produce visible change -- but change can't happen at all without first existing as an idea.

So, whether Edwards is a genuine progressive populist is less important to me than the ideas he's bringing into the political conversation. I'm not looking for a savior or a white knight. I just want people to wake up. Edwards' WORDS are helping with that project, imho.

9. I understand why you are supporting Edwards
and I agree...at this point even just saying the WORDS, as you put it, surely can't hurt.

At this point I've become more of an observer and don't want to get attached to a particular candidate. I still like what Dennis is saying, so I'll give him my primary vote....but then again...thats a month away and who knows who will be left by then.

You certainly make good points about Edwards.....I KNOW there is no savior...I am just still hoping for some changes and if it talks a lot of talk to make that happen...then lets get started. :)

Gonna be interesting anyhow....

6. Possibly.
I can think of several probabilities, and none of them really matter.

He has my primary vote if he's still on it. If not, I'll be making my own choice. Or not, depending on who is left on the ballot when it limps my way next May 20th.

7. Kucinich supported Edwards in 2004,
...saying that if he couldn't win a precinct, then his supporters should caucus for Edwards.

Kucinich also defended Edwards in a 2004 debate when the moderator asked if Edwards being rich could care about the poor.
