I'm rooting for Huckabee in Iowa
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 07:47 PM by Armstead
Don't get me wrong. I sure don't want to see him in the Oval Office.

But if he can derail the Mitt Machine by beating him in Iowa, I'm all for him.

Alas, there aren't any sane Republicans in their nomination, so it's all a matter of seeing them compete for the "lesser of all evils" position.

But as a resident of Massachusetts and seeing Mittsky in action, I fear that his chamelion-like qualities could make him a real contender in the General. So anything that can prevent him from doing a Bush next year, and disguising himself yet again, is better than nothing.

1. I'm kinda hoping for a Keyes win
And a Keyes-Huckabee ticket works for me - Dick Cheney's head would explode.

2. But Huckster will lose NH even if he wins IA, killing his Jesus fueled momentum
and allowing McCain a tiny bit of a shot and making it a three way race.

I think Multiple choice Mitt is easy to paint as a flip flopping fake. If Mitt wins IA, he will come close to winning NH and will probably win SC. Even if Old Man McCain wins NH like he did in 2000, he is over.

GO MITT!

4. So everyone's given up on ol' Freddie?
He's my horse because he's such a massive loser.

6. A win for huckabee will give mccain a chance
it would slow down romney, while mccain may have a chance in nh.

I guess it depends on who we want as their nominee.

I know someone who is cheering for romney because he thinks Romney is weak. then there is the above post that preents romney as slick and scary.

I am rooting for huckee in iowa. I fear that romney is formidable. And, if hillary is nominated I believe that the rep nominee is going to win 99% chance, so if I had to face a rep president, mccain is the least of the evils. Edwards or Obama could thump him though if they get the nomination.
