So last time he wanted Edwards to win and this time he doesn't, even though Edwards has moved so much more to the left since 2004?

Hard to figure. Maybe it is indeed true that Dennis really is pissed at Edwards, just as other posters have suggested today.

1. Maybe it's because Kucinich recognizes
that Obama is the only other true anti-war candidate.

2. Oh for chrise sake it's not that. Kucinich blasted Obama for his hypocrisy on that
right in the debates.

Kucinich simply said the thing they have in common is "change".

4. I read somewhere that Dennis
was furious when he overheard Clinton and Edwards talking about cutting some people out of the debates. I don't know whether Edwards initiated that, or if Kooch heard something more, but he's gone after JE ever since, and has left Clinton alone.

5. He's jealous .....pure and simple the people don't want him.
He knows damn well that Obama could never win, so he is trying to throw the election to the republicans. I just sent him an email telling him that.

21. Doesn't seem too likely now, does it?
I doubt he will endorse anyone before the convention. Maybe not after either, depending on the nominee.

Who knows, maybe losing his brother has caused Dennis to lose interest in this particular battle? While I would be disappointed if he dropped out of the race early, I would certainly understand if that was the reason for his decision.

24. Kucinich endorses Kerry
WASHINGTON (AP) — Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio ended his long-shot presidential bid Thursday with an endorsement of John Kerry, after running an underfunded campaign of anti-war rallies that failed to become competitive.

The Cleveland Democrat, who refused to drop out of the race even after better-known candidates gave up, stressed the need for the party to unite behind Kerry and vice presidential nominee John Edwards.

"With the same passion and commitment I demonstrated in my own campaign for president, I intend to reach out on behalf of the Kerry-Edwards ticket to unite our party with all those who may have felt left out," Kucinich said at the National Urban League convention in Detroit, where Kerry spoke Thursday.

Why is it such a big deal for a former Democratic contender to endorse the Party's nominee?

22. Pretty Cynical Ideas About The Reasoning of Such a Principaled Man
You don't even bother to suggest that Kucinich may actually SUPPORT Obama, rather than OPPOSE Edwards and Clinton.

Hey dude, don't get all bent out of shape for anyone speculating as to what Dennis's reasoning is here on this forum.

FYI, Kucinich has been my number one choice all along, so I'm not being cynical towards him.

Too pissed off that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer and politicans aren't doing anything about. Angry over the stranglehold that corporate America has on the policy-making process.
