A Query
IF. IF...

If Howard Dean endorsed John Kerry (since Kerry is going to win), what would you do?

I'm a diehard Kerry supporter and have been since 2000. I'm a weird sorta liberal hybrid. Kerry is the perfect match for me.

I loved Dean's energy, even if I found some of his stances unpleasant. If he endorsed Kerry I'd feel that the Dean camp can inject some much needed energy to Kerry's political/professional aura.

2. My two-cents...
I think it would be wise for Dean to not endorse anyone...especially John Kerry.

If this hypothetical becomes reality, there will be defections "en masse" to Nader and other Third-party alternatives.

Dean supporters aren't the usual "fall in line" Democrats.

Having worked for the McCain camp in 2000, every time I go to a Meet-up for Dean, "Deaniacs" hates the establishment Dems...just like how the "McCainiacs" hated their establishment Republicans.

6. So who needs them.
They couldn't even support Dean. Dean blew up in Iowa his ground game never delivered. 40 million for what? The supporters that remain( assuming there are any that are sane)will go for beating Bush. Real people want Bush out. The rest will waste time whining here.

3. I can't speak for most Dean supporters, but.....
I feel certain that Kerry will garner only a small percentage of the Dean base, but I can definitely say with some certainty that he will not be the recipient of the energy, enthusiasm and donations that only a loyal grassroots organization can command. Our energy and fund raising abilities are what set us apart from all the other campaigns because we are a very issue oriented group and extremely loyal, not just to Dean, but his message that has turned into a movement. Although Kerry may pick up a few votes from the Dean movement, I can assure you the enthusiasm and energy are not transferable.

4. Since I trust Dean to be my President, I would have to trust him....
to know which candidate to back. He has much greater knowledge of all the issues than I do. But, until then, I am voting for Dean, as he asked us to do. He did not withdraw and a brokered convention is where the power is with the people. Vote your choice, not the polls.

I do hope that he does not back anyone, yet! And especially Kerry! I think the White House has always wanted to run against Kerry. They said the would love to run against Dean and would hate to run against Kerry....HAVE THEY EVER LIED?

But this is just my humble opinion! You and everyone else should vote for your candidate now. After the convention, whomever is our Nominee, will get my full support!

5. Right now
I prefer Kerry to Edwards so I guess that endorsement would just make me feel better.

7. Dean would be like the albatross.
Kerry needs positive people that know how to vote. Dean is a loser. No one needs to know how to piss away $40 million.
