Want a 'real' great person to lead the country
It ain't 'slick' Hillary;
And, it ain't Oprabama;

It IS the people running for the right reasons ...

Edwards ... Kucinich ... Biden

Any one is a more logical choice for 98.6% if us (not those getting rich via war/contracts/lobbyists/etc.)

1. Ugh! I support Edwards, but I don't doubt that Obama Clinton are good people.
I don't support their styles or some of their ideas but I have no doubt that they're good people.

Haven't we had enough of this partisan bullshit?

2. No, that is what got us Bush
A bunch of GOP lackies unable to distinguish between fact and fiction - honesty vs propaganda, etc.

Either you're a Progressive or you aren't. And, neither Obama or Hillary have said anything - consistently - to lead anyone to believe they believe in anything but WINNING.

3. I think you need to stop believing the hype.
While I agree that neither Clinton nor Obama is as progressive as I'd like, I do think that both of them honestly wants to work for the good of this country and its people. I'm going to vote for Edwards, but I'm not going to demonize his opponents. Even Clinton is better than Romney.

4. How old are you?
I've been doing this since 72 - sure you can disagree, but for me Obama/Clinton are like the plastic molds you can get at the Museum of Science and Industry for a few coins.

Edwards, Kucinich, Biden ... now that's principle not readily molded.

6. So you're going to attack my age?
I'm old enough to have been involved in a few campaigns and I'm able to spot an unstable personality as well. I'd suggest getting some sleep and some counseling. The whole world doesn't collapse if your candidate doesn't win the primaries.

7. No...
What got us Bush is Nader supporters trying to get everybody to believe that Gore would just be as bad as Bush. Eight years later, do you honestly believe that now?

8. If YOU honestly believe it
Shouldn't your screen name be "Nader sucks"?? ;)

Yeah, Nader was a factor in Florida, but a relatively small one compared to the votes scrubbed even before election day by Jeb and Cruella's "miracle" ethnic cleansing software program.

And of course DIEBOLD did their part of the job, even in the states where they were not assisted by J. Kenneth Uncle Tom Blackwell.

11. lol
but YOU think just like little bushie. With us > against us. Bad. Good. Progressive. Evil toadie.

Oh and I'm sick of the whole Progressive thing. I'm a liberal with progressive economic philosophies. I don't like liberal having been turned into a dirty word by the right, with the left adopting that way of thinking like good little sheep huddled together in fear.

5. I think Obama is a good guy. I don't think he's ready to be President.
As for Hillary..... uh, I think I've made myself clear on that one.

I honestly believe Dennis Kucinich is the best President we could elect at this point in history (at least among those who are actually running). I have some issues with Edwards and Biden, and Bill Richardson as well, but I can't rule them out. Chris Dodd would probably make a better Senate Majority leader at the present time. And Mike Gravel.... well, I appreciate what he did in the 70's and I'm on the same side with him on many issues, but he's just a little old and a little crazy for me to consider a serious candidate.

Happy New Year anyway.... I need another beer :beer:

9. Kuc4, is Dennis
really able to deal with House and Senate in productive ways, to actually accomplish things? I have the same question about Edwards and Obama, and other problems with Hillary.

I really think Joe B. is the most likely to succeed, from day 1 and beyond, and that supporting him is the smartest thing we can do.
