WASHINGTON - President Bush will back a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

_______________

We must vote these low-life bastards out in November! They can's run on their record or the issues, so they try and ignite a culture war.

Bush ends his speech by saying, in effect, let's conduct this cultural, civilly--when the bastard knows it will be otherwise--his cultural warriors include Jerry Falwell, Ralph Reed, Pat Robertson, and their ilk--puhleese!

1. It's no different than Kerry refusing to stand up for it...
I'm still ticked about that. I think they gay community has been sold out by Kerry.

2. John Kerry was one of only 14 Senators, who voted against DOMA!
Which was signed by Clinton, in an election year, of course.

I expect the Democrats, except for the DINO's, will stand up and refuse to enshrine in our Constitution, taking away the rights of some of our citizens. John Kerry was already spoken out against such an amendment.

5. One step at a time.
You know gays and lesbians will get less than nothing from a Bush administration.
A Kerry administration will give civil unions, something that they don't have now.
Something is more than nothing.

9. You ain't gonna get either under Bush.
Nor are you likely to get a candidate who'll say outright he's for it right now.
One step at a time.

6. Kerry is for civil unions and partnership rights
He is not for gay marriage, and he is not for state bans on gay marriage that would deny civil unions and partnership rights.

8. Bush has just lit the match for the culture war his base was demanding.
And his sinking poll numbers, even within his own party, have a lot to do with this decision's timing.
