Poll question: Should All the Dem Candidates Take the Gloves Off Regarding Bush?
Edited on Tue Feb-24-04 09:34 AM by CO Liberal
Now that Pretzelboy has gone into full attack mode, should we do the same? Including the story about him forcing his underage girlfriend to get an abortion BEFORE they were legal? And the allegations of drug use? And the insider stock trading? And anything else we can uncover?

4. High road is ideal
I understand the need to hit hard however. I have been big on Dean for a long time, however that anger (while energizing) didn't work. I'm going for Edwards on Super Tuesday now (Ohio). Have no fear, I am definitely ABB.

6. This is EXACTLY why Kerry should not be the nominee.
Between his oath to Skull & Bones and his pro-BCE voting record the last three years, Kerry can't debate Bush on the Issues.

And it's the issues that must come first. Show Junior as the "miserable failure" he truly is first. Then when that is done you can go after him on the "coke snorting, drunk driving, baby killing, stock trading, national guard deserting" stuff.

8. Does anyone
have a link or anything for the abortion story. Someone I know sent me all the Kerry had an affair stories and I'd like to pass this on to them.

7. I want him blasted; I want him LAMBASTED...
And then...I want him "tarred and feathered" like the AWOL chickenhawk he is!

This moron isn't just the "worst pResident ever"...he's a national embarassment to us domestically, and an embarassment to us overseas...and he and his minions are a genuine threat to civil rights, basic freedoms, the environment, our retirement; well, you name it. One cannot take the high road with someone who's "just plain evil"; they only understand one thing--RAW, BRUTE FORCE! They don't just think we're political adversaries to be opposed; they think we're the ENEMY to be DESTROYED!:grr:

The good news is that they've made that abundantly clear over the last three years...now, if we'll only heed that message...:eyes:

B-)

10. Wanted to pick 'high road' but --
-- this is Rove's home field and Democrats have to be ready for smear tactics like the Horton ad, like the assault on Max Cleland, and so on.

Rove/Bush even ran ads against Republican Senators Snowe and Voinovich last year to pressure their votes.

We'd prefer a 'high road' world but unfortunately live in a fire-with-fire world.

11. if the gloves do not come off
history will repeat itself.

we must play the repugs game - say it over and over and over until the general population assumes that it is true - awol awol enron awol lies awol enron lies awol.......you know the beat....terra freedom terra fear terra freedom hate terra freedom freedom + freedom = terra to the third power

if there is even a hint of the 2000 debacle, i will be the first into the streets

That never works. It only makes the people who are on the fence more likely to side with him.

They should attack policy, and provide their alternative solutions.

Just bitching is what makes people think you're stupid and have no clue as to how to fix anything.

Let MoveOn or some other outside party do the dirty work.

We need to be the alternative to bush's idiocy, not a mirror image of it.
