As Pakistani crisis unfolds, Biden steps up on issue
USA Today

DES MOINES — "Sen. Joseph Biden, a foreign-policy veteran looking to move up in the Democratic presidential field four days before the start of the nomination season, has been talking about Pakistan for months. Since the Bhutto assassination last week, it has become the central theme in his quest for a second look from Iowans...What happens there affects everything "from your agriculture economy to your physical safety," the Delaware senator said last week in Elkader. "What happens if that country implodes and nuclear warheads fall into the hands of terrorists? That's what I've been warning about for five years."

Some Iowans are impressed. "The events in Pakistan gave me a more clear view of where I need to put my vote," said Joyce Goglin, a nurse midwife from Dubuque, after hearing Biden on Saturday."

1. We need to listen to this man. He has a deep understanding of what's
really going on in the world. And he even told us, the American people, during the debates. Too bad Bushco didn't listen to the Chairman of the SFRC. Wisdom squandered, and look where we are today...

I want Bush OUT, and Biden IN.

Then I want Bushco IN JAIL.

3. Funny how the msm is just figuring it out about Biden.
All the sudden it's all about Joe.

Better now than months from now.

I think if we had another....month or so before Iowa, we'd definitely see one of the top 3 replaced with Biden...

4. He's the only one who seems to know what he's talking
about. I just watched that video of him from 2004 talking about Saudi Arabia - no nonsense straight talk. This guy really knows foreign affairs.
