11. Not really
I can go more than two posts without spewing hatred towards Democratic candidates or DUers.

15. Nah, you're one of the more venomous DUers
I've often imagined you to be wearing sunglasses, as your clinton hatred must be very blinding.

22. Disagreeing with you does not equal venom.
Your venom at anything slightly antithetical to your world view is so glaring that the rest of us have to wear welders masks just to read your posts.

3. then it would be a tie wouldn't it
and they would split the delegates evenly, and all three will claim victory.

14. Hillary loses, easy
She was supposed to take all comers and walk away with the nomination. Anything less then that kills the inevitability meme for here across the rest of the country.

18. In a 3 way Iow tie (which won't happen), whoever wins New Hampshire. It won't happen because MSM
will report the winner as the winner even if he wins by a small margin.

Also, Biden, Richardson, and Dodd obviously lose (for good) under this unlikely scenario.

21. Everyone who worries about Iowa too much loses, especially if it's a tie
Edited on Sun Dec-30-07 10:49 PM by mtnsnake
...everyone but the media, that is. Them and their sponsors have already made a fortune off of people who think Iowa is the final stop of the process.

23. Edwards loses
If the Big Three deadlock in Iowa, then it's on to New Hampshire.

Obama and Clinton are far, far better off in NH than Edwards. The Edwards field organization in NH is not that strong. Clinton has most of the party regulars from the Shaheen organization, while Obama has put together a good organization building on parts of the 2004 Deam campaign, the Hodes and Shea-Porter networks, and an odd assortment of maverick Democrats. Edwards has some labor support, but this isn't a labor state.

Edwards is also running as the blue collar Labor Democrat in a state where that message never resonates. McGovern surprised Muskie, Carter beat Ted Kennedy, Mondale lost to Hart, and Harkin a good 25 points behind Paul Tsongas. Good-government, reformist candidates almost always trounce the populist in our state full of suburban software developers.
