Nader Supporters and Others:
Edited on Tue Feb-24-04 02:25 AM by Rowdyboy
Go to votenader.com They need state chairpersons who can help get Ralph on the ballot in every state. I'd really LOVE to have the opportunity to serve my country by managing his ballot drive down here....

(((hopefully, you can detect the sound of sarcasm, dripping slowly)))

See what you can do for Ralph

1. I checked it out , too
Did you notice there is no blog, or discussion area.

I guess Ralph does not want to hear from the people he wants to
represent.

Ha!! What a fraud this guy is!

2. This is against the rules....
"If you wish to contribute to the defeat of the Democratic candidate for president, then you are welcome to use someone else's bandwidth on some other website. As the election season draws closer, we may expand this rule to include Democratic candidates for other political offices.

Democratic Underground may not be used for political organizing activity by supporters of any political party other than the Democratic party. Supporters of certain other political parties may use Democratic Underground for limited partisan activities in political races where there is no Democratic party candidate."

Trying to sell your justification for voting on a third party progressive ticket is paramount to organizing opposition to the Democratic Party Candidate.

10. Sometimes, people just don't get it, even when you point it out to them...
Edited on Tue Feb-24-04 07:23 AM by Rowdyboy
Thats not my problem. I can't help it that they can't read. But it is FUNNY!

Let me add, though, for those who didn't get it...My implication was that NON-Nader supporters might "volunteer" to be state coordinators in states where Nader has no representative. Then they could deliberately see to it that he does not get on the ballot in those states.

It was not a serious suggestion, though I would have no objection if someone took my sarcasm literally and did sabotage Nader in a few states. he certainly deserves it for all the sabotage he's done to the liberal movement in America.

14. I don't understand
why the fine art of sarcasm is lost on so many people anymore. We need a smiley that denotes sarcasm, maybe it would be of some help.

11. Folks, ONE LAST TIME
Edited on Tue Feb-24-04 10:41 AM by Rowdyboy
This thread was SARCASTIC. That means I meant the opposite of what I said. I though by saying it was sarcasm, most people here would understand. Now there are TWO threads to the Admins asking that it be locked because I'm organizing for Nader. I was encouraging people to SABOTAGE Nader's ballot access drive, not help it.

Please, get a dictionary and read the definition of sarcasm. Then, you can understand.

I'd sooner chew off my nuts than encourage anyone to vote for Ralph Nader. I despise the pompous, self-righteous asshole for costing me my country.

I repeat, IT WAS SARCASM...I AM NOT NOW, NOR WILL I EVER, ORGANIZE FOR NADER.

15. Meh, I'd rather support democracy
You are better off rounding up voters for the Dem candidate than sabotaging Ralph. Who, by the way, still has a very succinct and pertinent message. If you are tone deaf when it comes to listening to him, then try listening to it come from Dennis, who says it with just as much eloquence.
