It would depend somewhat on the VEEP nominee. But Obama has clearly positioned himeslef as one willing to work with the Repukes to move things forward.

Hillary iw far too polarizing to offset the appeal of the CNU and so is Huckabee, Romney has chosen to flip to the right and will certainly be called for flipping back to the middle if he gets the nod. McCain will be the war candidate and is therefore polarizing to being with,

like Social security, Nuclear power plants and other environmental issues like coal.I fear his cozying up to the Xian militants for politcal gain.I want a Democrat, Obama is an opportunist.

10. Agreed. Edwards populist message crosses party lines and reaches independents best; it's an antidote
for Bloomberg's socially liberal corporatism.

Edwards would be the least hurt by Bloomberg running.

7. That's a good position for Obama to take, but...
he lacks the track record to back it up. Talk is cheap and Obama talks a good game, but not good enough for me. He needs more experience.

12. He would, especially with an ex-Republican like Webb on the ticket
which shores up the national security end of things and shows a real commitment to realignment at the same time.

All too logical for many people, though. The Clintons have to drive us into a ditch once and for all before they'll let go (and, even then, it will be somebody else's fault...like Obama's).
