WASHINGTON, Dec. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The strong showing of grassroots support for Ohio Congressman and Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich continues to be evident across the United States, as the people's choice has just earned another victory in an online poll, this time sponsored by the Democratic Party of Virginia.

With the voting ended and the results of nearly 7000 responses in, Kucinich captured first place with 30% of the votes. Hillary Rodham Clinton followed in second place with 27% of the votes, and the rest of the Democratic contenders lined up under in totals under 15%.

The Democratic Party of Virginia poll was conducted between December 20 and 23. The question was simple: If the Virginia Democratic presidential primary were held today, which of the six Democratic candidates would you vote for? It should be noted that Chris Dodd was not included in the poll choices because he had not filed with the State Board of Elections by the December 14, 5:00 PM deadline...........

6. What is more important for Dennis is the Pew Research Study that says
Edited on Sat Dec-29-07 10:57 PM by truedelphi
Says that 28% of voting Americans consider themselves Resmuglicans
33% Democrats
and a whopping 39% are Independent

But don't let any one know. We owe it to Big Media to support their choices for us.

11. How can you trust the corporate media?
Considering past behavior, the validity of corporate media polls are in question.

Is it scientific to make random phone calls when only 10% actually attend the caucus? The 10% might be the type of person who happens to be intelligent and politically motivated, not necessarily your average joe.

9. I think we've DU'ed enough online polls to realize
That this poll simply means that Kucinich supporters voted and voted till he came out on top.

In much the same way that racing fans caused Helio to beat out Mel B (the superior dancer) in Dancing With The Stars.

I'll wait for scientific polling, thanks. :)

14. It's very clear Kucinich bots are spamming, Hartmann said so himself
He said when he would announce he was doing a straw poll, people would call in for hours, and the screener would go, Are you listening? "No, Just wanted to vote for Kucinich"

When he didn't announce, Edwards won ...
