Everyone: post your Iowa predictions here!!!
I am an Obama supporter but I believe that because of how things look now.....that

1st will be Hillary

2nd will be Edwards

3rd will be Obama

4th will be Biden

I believe all 4 will be evenly spread out.

I would love to know what everyone else thinks...(please don't just pick the candidate that you support but who you think is actually going to win things. Also, be realistic, for example: Obama supporters don't say something stupid like "Hillary will come in 4th" because we can all agree that probably isn't going to happen.

4. I hope Edwards, Obama, Hillary; expect Edwards, Hillary, Obama. No one else'll meet the 15% statewid
threshold for receiving delegates.

Biden, Richardson, and Dodd won't drop out until after New Hampshire, but the race will be effectively over for them.

8. Edwards, Obama, Hillary, Biden
Biden will be a surprise.
Kucinich will get more votes than expected. Despite Des Moines Register locking him out of debates.
(Some voters will have considered this an outrage.)

After New Hampshire:

Richardson will drop-out & throw his support behind Hillary.
Kucinich MAY drop out & support Edwards--as in '04.
Dodd may drop out & support? Biden, Edwards or Hillary?
Gravel will announce he doesn't support anybody.

27. correction
Kucinich did not drop out and support Edwards in 2004. Kucinich was in the primaries until the end. K and E did have a deal in Iowa that was supposed to help both of them to get delegates, but that was as far as it went.

I believe Kucinich will be in this race for a while, and won't be supporting anyone any too soon. In Iowa, I agree with you that he may get more votes than expected.

19. I am an Obama supporter and I have faith
in my candidate and his organization. I truly believe Obama will win by 5% or more. I also believe Hillary will come in a comfortable second over Edwards and that Biden will do better than most expect.

28. Your scenario would likely be a win for Edwards
In the caucus system the candidates with less than 15% are considered non-viable. Their voters either have to go to another candidate or their votes are not counted. Edwards is the most popular second choice of voters in Iowa. A majority of the votes of non-viable candidates will end up going to Edwards, giving him the caucus victory.
