How will Kerry respond to Bush calling him
"wishy-washy" on the issues. Speaking to the governors today he made it clear that is how he is gonna run his campaign against Kerry if he is the nominee.

What I would love to see is Kerry respond with solid quick responses, 'cause Bush has nothing but smear to run on and he's done it well--when he ran for governor and of course the other.

This is gonna be a long 8 months...:freak:

1. The talking points
are well distrubuted and being repeated by every neocon talking head on every channel.

This IS going to be a long eight months.

Kerry better push Dubya back on the defensive side of the equation quickly, otherwise Dubya will succeed in "defining Kerry" before the campaign ever gets started.

7. Kerry just needs to explain his pro-war vote as being anti-war. Shouldn't
be a problem??

9. Problem is, the basic criticism is correct.
I hope that can come up with a good response, but I haven't heard anything convincing yet.

10. "Kerry Says Bush Rhetoric At Odds with His Record"
http://www.johnkerry.com/pressroom/releases/pr_2004_0223i.html

“George Bush has a credibility gap.  The truth is his record is very much at odds with his rhetoric.

“In his speech tonight, Bush is promising greater security but the fact is our nation is weaker and more isolated from our allies.  He promises greater prosperity but 3 million America’s have lost their jobs on this President’s watch.  He promises greater compassion but 2 million American’s have lost their health insurance and 2.5 million have fallen into poverty.  He promises greater freedom but he has John Ashcroft trampling on our civil liberties and civil rights.”

<snip>

Today, George W. Bush is launching a new political campaign message to disguise the fact that he has a miserable record on jobs, health care and security. Bush’s new stump speech will highlight security, prosperity, compassion and freedom. Despite the new political record, the Bush Administration has a record of failure on all of these areas.  John Kerry has a plan to move America forward and enhance security and freedom while restoring prosperity and compassion.

11. Kerry's biggest problem is his record
Voted for the war.
Voted for the tax cut.
Voted for the no child left behind crap.
Voted for the wiretaps.
Voted for the patriot act.

Hell, he's voted for just about everything this administration stands for. Should make for some interesting debates this fall at least.

Kerry: "and the bush tax cut for the rich..."

Shrub: "um, john, you voted for that."

Kerry: "and no child left behind, which gutted..."

Shrub: "you voted for that too john..."

yeah. and this is what they mean by "electability"?

And too all the Kerry-heads out there, flame on, but please, someone, please tell me just what IS the difference between him and Bush again? in concrete terms, please. not rhetoric. thanks.

12. But...but...but. Kerry has a liberal voting record!
...not for the last three years under the unelected fascist BCE regime, of course, but goddammit, just forget that and remember what he said in 1971!!
