OT but......Can DU shut up that damn dog?
I've almost had about three heart attacks after clicking on a page and hearing that loud bark from the ad.

Any way the advertiser might be convinced to remove the sound effect? Or at least put a sound that's a little less aurally obnoxious on there?

1. Contribute and you won't hear the barking. :)

3. I used to. but at the moment I can;t afford to

2. Are you a Firefox user?
And if so, why don't you have AdBlock Plus installed?

No barking dogs here.

7. Can you elaborate on AdBlock Plus?
Like how you get it and exactly what it does?

I've just re-installed Firefox after losing it when my old computer died.

8. I second that.
I never see (or hear) ads using AdBlock Plus.

Try this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

6. I leave my sound muted
And only turn it on when I want to hear something.
