My feelings on the race
I have been doing some serious thinking on this race. Will polls all over the place we have absolutly
no Idea on how the rank and file Democrats think. My feeling Is If on January 3 Hillary wins In Iowa
the race Is over with.Remember Kerry winning In Iowa sunk Dean In New Hampshere, and It could be a
replay If Hillary pulls It out In Iowa.If Obama wins In Iowa we have a two person race.If Edwards
wins In Iowa then the race will really get Intresting.I disagree with the pundits who say It Is good news for Hillary If he wins In Iowa.Edwards In polls where Hillary has dropped had picked up
some of her supporters.

After all the Clinton sponsered attacks on Obama I was leaning to voting for him In the Missouri
primary Feburary 5 but after some serious thinking I think It Is more Important to support the
candiate my gut feels I am more In sync with on the important Issues(Iraq and Iran,Civil Rights,
Social Security and Medicare,Health care,Labor Issues) and that person Is Edwards. So he Is who I am
voting for In the primary even If he loses Iowa.In 2004 I voted for my candiate even thought I knew
at that time he was going to lose. That was Dean.

I make no secret of my dislike of Hillary. And unlike some I can remember the Bill Clinton record.
No Health care reform but we got NAFTA,and Wellfare reform.Selling out the gays. Not a whole lot of
change In Foigen Policy. The fact that some want to Ignore Is some democrats out there don't like
her(and some of these despease Bush) and Republicans want to run against her.Ignore general election polls.2000 and 2004 prove those early numbers mean nothing.Hillary as the nominee forces
me In a postion I don't want to be In.Kerry was able to convince me to support him after Dean lost
but Hillary at times to me comes off as almost as full of BS as Bush, and Lieberman lite(Especilly
If you pay close attention to what she says about Iraq) It would be very hard to vote for her.
And while I voted for Bill Clinton twice and opposed the right wing attempts to remove him just because he says something doesn't mean It Is true.I am to the left of the Clintons In being opposed to Iraq from the very begining(And unlike them I am BSing anyone) and oppose all trade Deals(they
are killing the economy) and the Death Penitly(Remember he used It for Political purposes In 1992)
and on Iraq I would be considered a radical because I want all troops out as soon as possible and
want Iraqis to take care of themselves.

1. I am glad!
I am glad about your decision. I wish I could vote for a woman president, Hillary is just as corrupt as Bush. I donot trust her at all! One of the many reasons is that she is playing the money game. The links I discovered today scare the hell out of me and confirmed my gut is right. I posted it here, as a reply earlier today.

See my reply sand between their ears

Edwards is a man of conviction for the American people. He gives me hope that we can have a restored democracy.

2. 2004
Even though I was 100 percent for Dean back then I was Impressed with him saying we need to amend
the patroit act. While I am on the let's repeal it side It Is something for a major candiate to say
changes need to be made to It.Edwards may have money from being a lawyer but It didn't come from
being a corporate lawyer. And very Important Is he Is an Economic Liberal.Being against free trade deals Is a good thing. While he Isn't as far as some on the far left would like on the Issue he has crediabilty here.I hope he can shock the pundints, and who knows maybe after Iowa the Clinton people
will do to him what they are doing to Obama and maybe It gets more to take him seriously.
