Where are the Kucinich supporters these days on DU?

You hardly hear a peep from them anymore. I know you guys are still out there but it seems the loudest voices these past couple of weeks are the Obama people versus the Hillary people. I know the die-hard Kucinich people are here but all the threads are bash Obama or bash Hillary.

Maybe the Kucinich people are taking the high road and staying out of the muck. Good for them!

actually dennis has`t a chance but that does`t mean i`m not voting for him. if he pulls out by the time i get to vote then i`ll have to make a decision about john or barrack. when i join in a discussion it`s because i see something i feel is not true or unfair. it really does`t matter who the winner is, that will not stop me from stating my opinion on what i feel is right or wrong with a candidate or our nominee.

While we do mention Kucinich frequently, those posts tend to get buried under posts about the "top" candidates, which seems logical until you realize that the 2 candidates generating the most posts both poll about 5th and 6th in just about every DU poll.

There is really much less to fight about with DK; there are 3 major themes that his detractors repeat, ad nauseum, because they, and their candidates, simply cannot beat him on the issues.

Even many supporters of other candidates realize this, and bank on the "unelectable" theme. There is nothing to debate about. They know their candidates don't have a better plan for healthcare, a better record on Iraq, a better record opposing the Bush administration in any way, a better labor record or plan, a better position on election reform, a better record or position on opposing corporate "personhood."

They can only continue to repeat that he once was pro-life, no matter how long ago that was, he once said he'd consider working with Ron Paul, and he's "unelectable."

That's all they've got.

We can point out, and do, that his positions on the issues are light years ahead of the rest of the pack. Issues don't matter enough, though, to dominate the conversation.
