OBAMA ATTACKS: John Edwards
Barack Obama continues His Steady drip of attacks on not only Hillary Clinton, but on Progressive Favorite John Edwards.

Obama attack #1: issues "Fact Check" on John Edwards:

"He said he would change Washington, and we believed him. Times have changed, and so has John Edwards."
http://www.barackobama.com/factcheck/2007/12/28/john_edwards_shifting_rhetoric.php

John Edwards Has Committed the Abominable sin of becoming more progressive. Too bad Senator Obama did the opposite. In a 1996 Candidate Survey, Obama stated that he supported a single-payer health care system, as well as a ban on handguns. He's now Shifted to the Far Right on both issues:

-Supporting a health care plan that won't cover 15,000,000 Americans
-Not lobbying for stricter gun control laws

America can't trust Barack Obama.

1. isn't it interesting his use of language..."Edwards attacks"
the same mem the Bush used against Gore, and the media carried it to Bush's victory.

2. Another example of Clinton supporters trying to stir things up
between Obama and Edwards supporters.

4. BTW, the 1996 Candidate Survey you cite was not for a national election.
What may be good for Illinois (especially the larger urban areas) is not necessarily good for the nation — so your handgun law cite is absolutely useless.

Also, that 15,000,000 number is totally fiction.

5. That sounds like regular campaigning to me
I can't even make myself get upset about that. Your editorializing it was a bit offensive "John Edwards Has Committed the Abominable sin of becoming more progressive" but it is just silly in my view. I like both of those candidates and I trust Barack Obama.

Tweaking Hillary

Just when you thought they'd forgotten all about her, Edwards announces his "the 'Ask John' program -- giving undecided Iowans the opportunity to ask questions about any issues that concern them and get answers before they caucus.

“I believe that anyone running for president has an obligation to listen to the voices of regular people and answer their questions directly,” Edwards says in the release.
