I just sent another 100 bucks to Joe Biden
How about you?

------------------------------------------------------------

After a short break to spend the holiday with family, I am returning to Iowa today. The next 8 days will be a full-out sprint for the every campaign in this race, including ours. With a clear (but cold) forecast for January 3rd, we're hearing predictions that the turnout on caucus night might hit an all-time high -- in this type of environment, it's absolutely crucial we reach every single potential voter with our message before next week.

Will you make a contribution to our media fund today to help put up even more ads in Iowa this last week? Click here to contribute $15, $25, $50 or more to our media fund.

While the media is obsessed with the non-stop squabbling going on between other campaigns, we are quickly and not-so-quietly having a lot of success with our phone banks and events. In addition to me, my entire family is criss-crossing the state this week, talking to as many people as possible. People are noticing our Iowa Legislative endorsements and the crowds are bigger and more knowledgeable each day. With your help, we are going to blow through media expectations next week and head to New Hampshire for 5 intense days of campaigning with a head of steam.

By making a contribution to our media fund today, your money puts our message in front of hard to reach voters in the last days before the caucus. We are preparing the final media buys this week and I am asking each person who reads this email if they can make a contribution today. Help us make sure we're in front of every single caucus-goer before they make their final decision.

Will you make a contribution to our media fund today to help put up even more ads in Iowa this last week? Click here to contribute $15, $25, $50 or more to our media fund.

Because of supporters like you, we are leaving no stone unturned in the next 8 days.

Thank you,

Joe

8. Yeah, I don't know....but here is what the FEC site says
Biden Fifth Presidential Candidate Declared Eligible for Primary Matching Funds in 2008 Race

WASHINGTON – Joseph Biden is the fifth 2008 presidential candidate to be declared eligible by the Federal Election Commission (FEC/Commission) to receive federal matching funds. Biden is seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2008.

To become eligible for matching funds, candidates must raise a threshold amount of $100,000 by collecting $5,000 in 20 different states in amounts no greater than $250 from any individual. Other requirements to be declared eligible include agreeing to an overall spending limit of approximately $50 million, abiding by spending limits in each state, using public funds only for legitimate campaign-related expenses, keeping financial records and permitting an extensive campaign audit.

Based on documents filed by the Biden campaign on November 9, 2007, contributions from the following states were verified for threshold purposes: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Materials included with this submission may be viewed on the Internet.

Once declared eligible, campaigns may submit additional contributions for matching funds on the first business day of every month. The U.S. Treasury Department may pay the FEC-certified amounts beginning in January 2008. The maximum amount a candidate could receive is currently estimated to be about $21 million.

The Presidential public funding program is financed through the $3 check-off that appears on individual income tax returns. The program has three elements: grants to parties to help fund their nominating conventions, grants available to nominees to pay for the general election campaign, and matching payments to participating candidates during the primary campaign.

In June of this year the Commission certified $16,356,000 each to the Democratic and Republican parties for their conventions. The Commission estimates that each general election nominee will be eligible for a grant of approximately $85 million.

Treasury Department regulations require that funds for the convention and general election grants be set aside before any matching fund payments are made. Information provided by the Treasury Department shows the balance in the fund as of October 31, 2007 was $165,383,063 and the Commission has estimated that no funds will be available for matching payments in January 2008. As deposits are made from tax returns in the early months of 2008, matching fund payments will be made from those deposits until all certified amounts have been paid. Based on historical patterns, the FEC estimates that funds may not be available to disburse before March 2008.

11. This again??
We have been over this so many times..

What do I like most???.....I like the fact that he has been in the Senate for 35 years and that's all you can come up with?? That is real experience in major leadership roles. He is not beholden to special interests. He speaks his mind with honesty and integrity. I just happen to think his plan to end the war in Iraq has merit. I'm sure you are very aware of his Farm bill proposals??
I am danged happy I will be caucusing for him the 3rd....on and on.....you might just want to take the time to investigate Joe....I know you'll like him!!!!

13. His honesty..
his foreign policy experience, his ability to work across party lines. He didn't vote to stay the course in Iraq, he voted to keep the troops safe, by funding them, and providing them with the necessary equipment to prevent loss of life.

I'm not even going to address your other points, because they have been hashed out on this board again, and again, and I'm sure you know the answers already, and if not, feel free to do a search.

Funny, I doubt you're a Hillary supporter at all. I don't think I have ever seen a Hillary supporter attacking Joe. Must be a wolf in sheeps clothing....
