Voters can identify with someone who is not so vain that they need botox injections to boost their self image. Edwards scores points here IMO. Americans can accept someone with a few scars, blemishes.

that's only fair right? Edwards doesn't get compared to lurch or a pez despenser like Kerry, but to some it's fine to speculate that for some reason HIS looks are the problem. No, sorry, he's a good looking guy, and probably better looking than most people here when they do or when they did reach 50 years old
