Christmas Wishes For The Candidates
I wish...

1. That Hillary gets appreciated more for the hard-work she's done turning herself from a first lady to a successful senator to a serious presidential candidate.

2. That Barack Obama gets the nomination, cruises to victory in the general election, and re-shapes America into the country we all truly invision it could be.

3. That John Edwards lives a long and healthy life with his wife and children, until he is old and gray, after a long and distinguished career on the Supreme Court.

4. That Joe Biden becomes Secretary of State in whatever administration is next.

5. That Bill Richardson becomes vice president in whatever administration is next.

6. That Christopher Dodd gets a bottle of hair dye, and stays senator from Connecticut for as long as he chooses.

7. That Dennis Kucinich stops being seen as the kooky fringe candidate, and his views are taken more seriously by the general public.

8. that Mike Gravel gets a stylist and a credit counselor for Christmas.

And I wish all of you at DU the veriest merriest of Christmases.

:hi:

1. I'm Okay With This
Yeah, I want John Edwards for President, but I'd be happy with any of the Democratic candidates, really.

It would be great to have him on SCOTUS - I'd also love to see him as an activist who puts real pressure on Congress to change laws to help people, not corporations.

As for Hillary - what about Senate Majority Leader?

2. I think she'd be a good senate majority leader
I'd be down with that.
