I bet he doesn't and that will show him how out of touch with reality he is

1. He'll get 'em.
Stand out in front of Wal Mart's. There's plenty of Republicans there.

2. It's too bad...
That we can't make Ralphie Boy's petition drive leaders register all their signatures only on Diebold machines!:eyes:

GO TO HELL, RALPHIE BOY!

3. It varies by state
In WI, he'll have no problem. All he needs is 2,000. (We've got something like four million eligible voters here.)
(I think in California it's even less.)

In Texas, he'll need 65,000. Much harder.

4. Republicans will sign
And I would not be surprised if Republican secretaries of state are very lenient about rules. Democratic secretaries may be real hard-asses about certifying signatures, however.

5. Nimble_Idea --
-- I think the posters here have got it right. Nader will get the signatures in the "easier" states and won't have much trouble in Rove-tainted tougher states.

He'll get the signatures but he may lose his reputation. This is going to be a Democrats-come-home election. Bad news for Nader. Even worse for Bush.
