I find it hard to believe most people who are genuinely "undecided" by now will bother to attend a 3 hour event in bone chilling cold weather.

1. I've been told that a lot of people just soak it all in and then decide on the day
I couldnt do that :D but it may work for some

2. Many Iowans say that they do decide on the day
and I believe them. My stepdad does that, though he's not an Iowan. What's scary is that he sometimes does it on a General Election day, which is how he ended up choosing between Bush and Gore while standing in the voting booth.

3. Did you eer think that there are several candidates who would
be very good, but each for a different reason? I have. I know it can't be done, but there are qualities in each of our candidates that are very good, and I would love to be able to create that one candidate and incorporate those qualities in one. Too bad that can't be done! I don't live in Iowa, but I can tell you that although I have a favorite, he isn't one of the front runners so I "could" change my mine too.
Why do you think Iowans don't think the same?

4. I totally agree.
Most all "boots on the ground " folks are from out of state. The Iowa natives in general are not even close to being as obcessed as the rest of the nation is as a whole. Now Iowa natives take pride in the national reconition as the "first " to cast the votes but if one is undecided today then they are only making small talk for an interview and probably not honest and intrested.

5. It is a good selection.
We are fielding a good group of candidates this year. While watching the debates I think wouldn't it really tell the tale if our top eight or nine or ever how many we have, would debate the republican field. I would go along ways to see this.

I can understand during the primaries having a tough time, but a coin tough choice between Gore and Bush? Someone wasn't paying attention if they couldn't see the differences. The shame of it is,these people are not alone. I just shake my head at some of the people who vote republican. How on God's green earth do they think any republican could be working for them.
