To Undecideds: What Are You Looking For in a Candidate?

I was going to start this thread specifically for Iowa Undecideds, but I don't know how many of them post on DU...so opened it up for all UNs.

What are you looking for in a candidate? Do you want to go for one of the Underdogs (Biden, Richardson, Dodd)? One of the longshots (Kucinich, Gravel)? If you're trying to decide between the Top Tier (Clinton, Obama, Edwards)...how are you judging each of them? Do you like Clinton, but not her campaigns antics recently? Do you like Obama, but feel he's not ready or too green? Do you like Edwards, but don't feel totally secure with him?

Mostly...who are you leaning towards? And why?

1. Mainly, I'm supporting Not Hillary.

I like everybody else pretty well, but what really floats my boat is somebody who's fearless and forthright and won't back down, so I guess right now I'm leaning toward Edwards or Dodd.

2. I am looking for a candidate who can lead us out the GD mess Bush has put us in.

Designate department and agency heads in the fed gov't with people who have a background and knowledge in the field - not political appointees -Start cleaning house at the top. Also, someone who get us out of Iraq with diplomacy and dignity.
