62% of Republicans are afraid of Hillary getting elected.
They tend to label her extremist.

Maybe not such a big surprise, but, again, I worry about the liability here. Also, since I live in the middle of the country, I don't see how she does well here in the middle in the general election.

Yes, I know we've hashed through this before.....

4. And, you see that where?
Her national polling average is 44%, so I seriously doubt that 76% are afraid that she'll get elected.

Fuzzy math?

62% of shrinking minority is a shrining minority. And noting the other note the 76% of Democrats who don't really like would probably still vote for her as against almost any Republican.

Despite these figures she might just get elected.

I would not be thrilled.

But you must admit, it would still be an improvement.

14. Yeah, I'd settle for Hillary, too, but.....
my concern is that she's too polarizing to get elected.

John Kerry's appeal in the middle of the country was lackluster to say the least. I'm afraid that Hillary would go beyond lackluster to repellant -- a stampede into the Republican camp. All because they can't stand her or are scared sh*tless her thanks in large part to Right Wing Radio.

Right Wing Radio will beat the drum endlessly if she's the nominee. Of course, they'll go after the Democrat regardless, but they'll have a field day with Hillary hysteria.

I'd rather lead with someone Middle America can relate to. Someone who's not already a bedtime bogeyman for so many.

6. Only 62%? So, that leaves 38% as potential crossover votes.
I'm surprised that it's not 90%.

15. All the more reason to nominate Hillary.

If she's the nominee, I consider that a HUGE bonus.

A) She'd win in November, and

B) NOTHING would piss off the right wing more than Hillary as President. (And admit it, THAT would be pretty damn sweet).

16. You obama folks I need you to stop and think about what i
am about to write....Why do you think the right wing all of a sudden is so nice to obama and most of the msm is as well? Do you ever think it through? Well maybe I have an idea as to why. Being a Jew and living in Ms.and seen wayyyyyyyyyyy too much of this crap, I know and I will be blunt about it. The racist bastards on the right would love nothing better then to run against Obama... I have written many times if no one thinks racists are alive and well in the gop then all one needs do is look at the tenn senate race in 04. harold ford jr had a lead of 2 to 4 points going into the final 10 days to 2 weeks and all of a sudden there appears an ad with only a white blond head woman that says "harold give me a call sometimes". Well the rest is history and corker is the new senator from tenn.....

It was a shame this was done and there was an outcry not only within tenn, but elsewhere across the nation, but to no avail. The ad was not taken down. So, I say this in advance if Obama is our nominee and if anyone sees anything that appears racists then it should be reported because if it goes unreported it will cause many folks to become scared or even change their minds....again, this too will be done if hrc is the nominee. There will be sexist remarks and sexism will flourish unless folks stop it...

Or as Charles Barkley said about this election. "we will see just who the sexist and racist are during this campaign". and I agree

Ben David

17. As always, good points Ben.
I noticed the reaction in Tennessee and understood it completely having lived in South Carolina for 16 years. I spoke out against it until I was blue in the face up until the day I left but it didn't seem to change many opinions.

Hillary is going to get slammed as well. Any of our candidates will. We all just need to be ready.

18. You better be careful Ben...

You might accidentally be mistaken for GlenP's alter-ego.

;-)

P.S. You raise VERY valid questions that primary voters should be asking themselves.
