Poll question: DU Income Demographics Part Two
Edited on Mon Feb-23-04 04:01 PM by Walt Starr
Okay, we are seeing the income distribution in my other thread, so let's look at the breakdown:

Are you receiving an hourly wage, an annual salary, unemployed, or are you self employed? This one looks at individuals rather than households because it can vary wildly in a household

22. Not quite sure about that one either
Edited on Mon Feb-23-04 04:21 PM by Doogie
I think he pulled the "no jobs" lever on his first day in office.

I sure do hope he remembers to push it back soon, cause, I'm dying here.

Got laid off for the second time in my life (actually second time since 9/11), back in Sept., and still haven't found anything. Highly skilled, loads of experience, so the employers looking to fill lower skilled positions won't talk to me because my last salary was too high, or as soon as the market rebounds they figure I'll quit for something better.

Bleagh, unemployment blows.(edit for spelling)

9. I stay at home with our kids. I wonder if that counts as self-employed!
It is a rewarding job but the pay sucks!

My husband is a salaried worker who is unemployed for the moment.

14. Self Employed
If retired, you receive an income that you built through years of working and no longer have to work for somebody else, ergo, you are self employed.
