Our country desperately needs an intelligent, knowledgeable, and honest man to mend our broken nation...A President who can lead the free world and truly help countries around the globe. A President who can recapture our credibility and strength with our allies. Joe Biden is the right choice in these difficult and critical times in which we live. By far, our next Presidential election is one of THE MOST important in decades. We cannot fail as a people again. Joe Biden is one the brightest we have. A diamond in the rough. There is no doubt in my mind that Joe Biden will bring America back to greatness...and the rest of the world will follow.

I also believe Joe Biden would CRUSH any Republican candidate. Not only would he attract Republican AND Independent voters, but there isn't a Republican alive that can match Joe's brilliance when it comes to foreign policy. America needs this man. And I hope Iowa has been listening to him.

1. Yeah, watching all 6% of eligible Iowa voters who actually caucus
Remind me why we actually care about Iowa and its arcane caucus?

3. Why respond to a post that is directed to Iowans
If you don't care about what Iowans think?

12. As a former resident of Iowa
I'd just like to point out that those of us who have never had a say in picking our party's nominee can get a wee bit frustrated with Iowa's special status. The fact that only 6% of Iowans participate in the Caucuses makes the insult particularly egregious. Iowans are great people, I just don't think they should get so much say in the process.

26. I for one
am happy for Iowa's importance. Otherwise it would be who has the deepest pocket. We shouldn't pick a President that way. Even though it looks like we may anyway.

Public funding for elections is the only way to level the playing field. Joe Biden's been fighting for it for years. He is owned by no one. If he was, he'd have raised just as much as the "rock stars"

2. I don't believe anyone can watch one of your videos and come away
uninspired. And inspiration is what we are sorely lacking in this country. You have an immense talent, JS, and I don't suspect the world has heard the last of you OR Joseph R. Biden. Thank you for caring enough about this country to share your creativity and inspiration with all of us.

9. The media and the DLC didn't like Dean
He wasn't their ordained candidate. They wanted a "safe" (milquetoast) candidate like Kerry. Obama isn't in the same boat. It remains to be seen, however, how Obama stands up to attacks. Eventually he would have to go on counter offensive. The absolute high road won't work against swift-boating. Also, if he wins the nomination, the republicans will make it all about race, which would be a gift to the democrats. If Obama tries to make it about race, it will backfire. If he wins, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

7. very good.
At first I felt the first one was a bit lengthy....but as I finished it I realized it all tied together. I think it is well worth the while to view the whole thing.
The second is more like a commercial.....and has great effect. Direct and to the point...Like Joe Biden himself.
Thank you for posting these!!!!

8. Well, remember the links I am building for my children and grandkids to see?
That first one is going to be at the top of the list. Beautiful!! I told them the only thing I wanted for Christmas was their vote for Joe...and I said it with tears in my eyes. It's that important to me.

How anyone can listen to him and not come away with the feeling he is an honest, brilliant and dedicated man is beyond me. It's too bad there are so many "stars" taking the spotlight away from Joe, but I'm hoping my fellow Iowans, who hold their favorite choices pretty close to the chest so as not to expose their vote, will give the world a gift on January 4th...the name of Joe Biden as our choice for the next President of the United States. I truly believe that if Joe Biden wins the POTUS, the world will give one long and loud sigh of relief. They've been thru hell and we owe it to them to restore their beacon of light to its former self, so that America, the Beautiful can shine, once again!

10. I agree
If our country was in the middle of prosperity, and our economic picture wasn't bleak with the debt we've incurred (not to mention record high oil prices)...if we didn't have our brave men and women abroad spilling their blood and losing their lives...if we didn't have Armageddon going on in the Middle East, and possible turmoil in Pakistan (a nuclear power), not to mention tensions with Iran, Syria, China, Russia, and keeping our eye on what happens with our ally Israel. If there wasn't so much critical attention needed to this world and our own country, I wouldn't really care who we elect. But we are not in a stable place as a nation, and our trust and credibility have been severely damaged around the globe. There is a clear and intelligent choice to make as Americans...and that choice is Joe Biden.

I have yet to figure out why the country is watching!!!! I have never cared, nor will I ever care, who a rural state in the middle of the country with a handful of electorate votes thinks should be the next president.

16. Thank you! You shouldn't
and neither should the MSM.

If folks would let IA and NH only govern IA and NH (and if the calendar would get more drawn out) we'd go back to where the smaller states vetted the candidates and let them hone their messages (back to the days of a Gary Hart or Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter).

19. Should we let deep pockets win the race?
At least Iowa and New Hampshire give candidates who aren't raising these obscene amounts of money a shot. What really should take place is public funding for elections. Something Joe Biden's been calling for for years. Take the special interests OUT OF IT. inmho.

18. I respectfully disagree
It is extremely critical that we elect a President who has vast knowledge and experience this time around. ESPECIALLY in foreign policy. Sometimes I believe because the American voter doesn't have someone waiting at their back door with a machete or a gun or bomb they seem to lose sight of what's at stake around the globe, and how that affects us at home.

I think it's wonderful that we have a woman and an African American running for President, and again, if America wasn't in such a broken state as a nation and if it wasn't so immensely important to have a experienced foreign policy mind sitting behind the desk in the oval office, I'd say sure, let's give Barack or Hillary a shot. I just don't think America can gamble on what ifs and maybes. We desperately need a President who can hit the ground running and get this country back to greatness. For me it's clear as day. That person is Senator Joseph Biden. Joe Biden has proven his brilliant foreign policy mind over and over again. It's time to get it right this time. We cannot fail again as Americans.

21. Bingo
You expressed my feelings exactly. We can not afford a mistake. We need someone who can hit the ground running. We need someone with extensive foreign policy experience..and we sure as hell need someone with immense knowledge of and ability to work with Congress. It's as plain as day for me too. I can honestly say in my 30+ years of voting I have never been so sure as I am today about who we need as leader of this country.
I'm not willing to gamble either.....

22. That is simply not true.
Everyone says this is going to be an election of change, and the fact of the matter is anyone in the Democratic field will present change. We need the next President to be able to break from the neo-conservative rule that has put this nation in shambles. So while all of the Democrats present that change we then need to decide which among them is best suited to clean up the messes Bush has created. We need to ask ourselves: Who can end this war responsibly through a political solution? Who has the depth and breadth of experience the prohibit a nuclear Iran? Who is going to be able, on day on, to settle an already nuclear Pakistan to make sure their moderate population remains in power? These are all issues that need to be resolved and the only person experienced enough to do so is Joe Biden. It just so happens his experience has been amassed in the capitol. That is not a negative. The only negative in a candidate would be from one that supports conservative view points. Joe Biden certainly does not do that.

24. PEOPLE OF IOWA, thank you for turning out and listening to Joe. Thank you
for all the wonderful sentiments you've shared. Thank you speaking of Joe with your friends and family, and showing them Kad's videos. Thank you for giving us who feel the same way, hope.

The others here have expressed my feelings better than I could - for all the "obvious" reasons and experience, this man has earned my trust and respect. I hope he's won yours as well and that you will support him when you caucus.

:hi:
