Wealth is a wonderful thing and proof of your virtue in the eyes of God...
Unless you are a Democratic politician, in which case the wealth is a sign of your criminal inclinations. This is especially true if you acquired all that money by using lawyer tricks to steal it from deserving corporations.

Passion is a wonderful thing and proof of your devotion to God...

as long as you reserve your passion for excoriating homosexuals, Muslims and poor people. If, however, you turn your passion against the wealthy and the powerful, you are an abomination in the eyes of God.

2. OK,
have you been hanging out at freeperville lately? Talking to a religious nut? Can't be PBS; those boards are closed. I know, you need eggnog. And your significant other.

I'm sorry, Jackpine, I've run into a couple of those types too. Oddly enough, the same woman who gave methis line is the one who believes that genocide is God's work. Strange folks........

3. How to make BIBLE BLINDERS
Step#1 remove front and rear cover from a hard cover bible.
Step#2 throw away the rest of the bible. (It will only confuse you)
Step#3 Using large Heavy Duty staple gun (preferably pneumatic) Staple Bible covers to either side of your Head.
Step#4 Go merrily on your way believing whatever you want, without that pesky bible to interfere with your lunatic theories.

4. Excess wealth is a characteristic of hording...

and selfishness. Our sociopathic leaders twist and distort the reality to fit their myopic self interests to the exclusion and detriment of all else. In a healthy culture or society, wealth is gathered by the leaders and redistributed to the general population in ways that best serve the needs, and objectives of the that tribe, village, town, city, state, nation, world. When that function is disrupted by GREED it is torn under and civilizations are destroyed. Unfortunately for us, we have obtained a level of technological advancement where as we can now destroy the habitability of our planet. The circle of life may be broken during our watch. So, then the central question arises: what are we going to do about it?

6. Aw I was just thinking about how everything is either a virtue
or at worst a harmless eccentricity for them, but they manage to twist everything into a liability for our candidates. Bush's pig farm versus Edwards' or Gore's house; Edwards' haircut versus Bush's $20,000 suits (OK, $2000, but still...). The noble AWOL Bush versus the Swiftboat traitor Kerry. Bush's million verbal gaffe's forgotten, but Dean's electronically created scream immortalized. Gore's a liar because somebody made up a soty about his comments on Love Canal and the internet, but Bush lied us into a fucking war and nobody cares. Christ on a crutch, there are times when the relentless mindfucking of the public by the media just wears on me.

7. And Kerry is a "flip-flopper" because he alters his position whenever new
information must be taken into account, but Romney's change of positions on everything, in order to pander to whichever electorate he is facing, aren't even worth space on the news programs--not to mention his clear lies about his and his father's marching with MLK, vs. Gore's supposed statements, which in fact Gore never even made.

8. Remember, everything is OK if it's them
but nothing is ok if it's us.

There's a reason I ignore those people.

9. Gets hard to ignore them
when they're breaking down your door with a fire ax so they can drag you off to a camp somewhere.

10. You didn't hear this from me
but being a pacifist in such a case would be stupid. If they love their god so much, send them to him!

11. I guess that's what I'd do if I had to, but
ya know, I'm too old for this shit. I still got bullets in my carcass from the last war I was in, 40 years ago.

12. I agree with your gripe about the necessity
I shouldn't have to deal with idiots like that myself, but that's what we get for allowing a bunch of loons who want the world to end into our gov't.

They're there uninvited as far as I'm concerned.
Bastards.
