The media is turning on Obama: NBC News Report on him voting present
Welcome to Hillary's world for the last 16 years, Obama. How you like being the frontrunner?

1. So you're admitting he's the frontrunner? Nice... :-)
Obama and Edwards both will continue to get scrutiny for their votes, issues, platforms, etc. But I doubt they'll get as much negative publicity as HRC did on at least four different prime time shows (just tonight) for the negative and desperate campaign she is running.

Time for a Change. Indeed.

17. Obama and his supporters are hoping the media will give him a pass...
the way the media gave * a pass....but it won't happen. The "librul media" won't be doing that anytime soon and probably not for a Democrat. They save their blind spots for assholes like Raygun and *. Obama is a vapid candidate and he deserves to have his dismal and shameful record dragged out for all to see. Only the most dim~witted will shut their eyes to Obama's inexperience.

18. Obama himself said "You must vote yes or no on whatever bill comes up,"
Obama himself said "You must vote yes or no on whatever bill comes up,"

While these votes occurred while Obama and the Democrats were in the minority in the Illinois Senate, in the Audacity of Hope (page 130), Obama explained that even as a legislator in the minority, "You must vote yes or no on whatever bill comes up, with the knowledge that it's unlikely to be a compromise that either you or your supporters consider fair and or just."

19. And they've been all about praise and flattery up until now?
Did you forget the madrassa stories, the story about him dressing like Ahmajinidad, the multiple occasions news networks inadvertently substituted an 's', where a 'b' should have been??

What a convenient memory you have- the perception of a victimized Hillary and of her victimized supporters must really be something worth holding on to. :eyes:

Good luck with all of that.

No viable candidate in history has received the sustained level of positive press Obama has enjoyed.

Never.

42. Hillary, anyone?
Up until a couple of months ago, she was the presumptive nominee and there was very little media criticism about her (other than the usual RW suspects, of course). I'm not talking about the criticism she experienced as First Lady, I'm talking about here and now. Hillary easily had 10 months of positive press (the foregone conclusion, if you will), while the media were stumbling all over themselves getting everything about Obama wrong. Do you seriously think that was an accident?

The only thing that has changed in the past few weeks is that as Obama has gained support, and Hillary is no longer the presumptive nominee. The media is fickle, you know. The same networks that were loving on Hillary a couple of months ago are more than willing to throw her under the bus now that she isn't a sure thing. In the meantime, the guy they threw under the bus by trivializing his candidacy months ago has clearly exceeded their expectations.

Anyone who believes that Obama has somehow been favored in this little media game is only seeing what he or she wishes to see.

You can question a man's politics.
You can question a man's courage.
You can question a man's judgement.
But by god, never, EVER question his loyalty to the Red Sox!

27. Do they mention how voting "present" is common in senatorial voting procedures?
Do they mention that Obama's 4000+ votes while state senator and the 130 he voted "present" on come to about 3.25% of the votes he cast?

Um....probably not. Don't expect these pretty-faced Botoxed puppets to be journalists...eewww, that might muss up their fucking blow-dried hair.

43. And Hillary voted for WHAT while she held the job
that some believe qualifies her for the presidency? What did she lead, other than her failed health care plan and the White House domestic staff? Seriously, being within close proximity to a president does not make one presidential material, no matter how much some would like for that to be the case.
