This stuff about Poppy working for Hillary, Arnold working for Obama, Paul and DK, etc (I seem to remember Edwards saying something to that effect as well) is just being used to attack each other, and it's pretty lame and hypocritical of those doing it. I don't like the idea of using any myself, but anyone who thinks it isn't going to happen if their choice gets in is kidding themselves.

So why are some people acting like their choice is above it? If the goal is to look foolish and hypocritical it'll be a smashing success, I'm sure. Because none of the top tier choices are above it.

1. Because the GOP Was SO Into Power-Sharing!
:sarcasm:

What a crock of crooks. We don't need the GOP to show us how to misbehave.

2. Vote for Dennis!
No 'Pukes. No DLC'ers. No PNAC'ers. Sounds like AMERICA to me. :)

3. I'll be honest, I love DK, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did the "reach out" thing too.
It's common during the changeover from one Admin to another to see that kind of thing in the name of peace, blah blah blah. And even Dennis may not be immune to that so called goodwill type gesture.

6. The question is, why would ANY of the Dem candidates be foolish enough to say it?
It's not like there aren't plenty of reasons not to vote for each them. This isn't the general election there is no need to feign bipartisanship. It's a tactical mistake. At this point, the thought of voting for a candidate that truly wants to play nice with the GOP would be enough to keep me home on election day.
